Things (both silly and serious) I'm Thankful for Today

1. I didn't die.
2. Korea has been kind enough not to kill me with cold since I got back from Guam's sunny weather.
3. Even away from my family, I have family.
4. After 3 weeks in the kennel, my dog hasn't forgotten where to poo.
5. I have someone to write love letters to...
6. I resisted the temptation to waste the day away in front of the TV.
7. The lady at the bakery was nice to me.
8. The bread she sold me didn't suck.
9. I have plans for the weekend that actually involve going outside and moving around.
10. I'm actually writing something on this blogsite instead of letting it fester in cyberspace.
    

On the way...home???

Last day of my extended winter break in Guam.  :(  There's so much more I want to do here--not just go swimming and shopping, but be with my family and, well, just...be.  It was sad watching the sunset last night; I think Sang Min and I both felt something more than the sun going down behind the cloudy horizon.  There was the sense that something was coming to an end. 

 

But...2006 has a lot to offer!  I think starting it off in Guam with my family (adopted members included!) was just the thing to open a year full of promise.
